Knaresborough Bed Race
Saturday 11th June
This year we had members of LDC running and swimming in no less than 3 teams for the Knaresborough Bed Race. Many of the rest of us went to watch the fun!
Above: The Lickley Lads (including Luke, Lee, Phil & Jordan) crossing the river Nidd... They came in 4th fastest. Well done lads!

Amber (hiding behind the mast we think!) and the HPL Flyers were the fastest women's team - yet again!
The Lickley Lads might not have done so well if they'd had to make the run with their dragon! (Might not have turned out too well for their princess, either!)
Kathryn, Kim and Helen's Kids at Heart team started 87th and finished 85th! Was that an improvement - or what? At least they were lucky not to get eaten by Luke's dragon.
