Welcoming

Are you a good conversationalist, a good host, or just like meeting new people?

Our Welcome Team members wear the familiar pink (or new men's black) T-shirts and help prepare the auditorium before the meeting. They then greet folk as they come in, giving out sweets and bulletins, keeping a special eye out for newcomers, handing them our special visitor's materials and escorting them to their seats. They collect the offering and after the service bid folk farewell or greet them again at Quench.

If that seems too much of a challenge just yet, we have a second line of welcomers - our Connectors. They have no special uniform or formal duty rota. Their task is simply to look out for newcomers and help by sitting with them in the meetings, introducing them to possible new friends and encouraging them to join us at Quench after the service.
